The idea for uploadourday.com came about at a friend’s wedding back in 2005. We were sitting around the wedding breakfast table discussing how digital technology was changing the world around us. The bride and groom had placed disposable cameras on the tables hoping to catch moments of the evening through the eyes of the guests. Looking around the tables it became clear most people had a modern replacement to this 20 year old technology and they were carrying these cameras and camera phones with them throughout the whole day!
We have been providing online galleries for weddings (and other celebrations) since early 2006 and have been overwhelmed by the response. A wedding of a 100 people will usually create about 250 images of the whole day through the eyes of your friends and family. The key to our service is your guests creating a wonderful collection of images that they can enjoy online as well. Our wedding pack provides unique username and password cards, so there is no need for your guests to register with us. They log in to your gallery, upload their photos, add a comment and enjoy the easy to use features of the gallery all for free.
